Olive Oil is famous for being a cholesterol free healthy cooking oil with cosmetic value as well. The Olive Leaf or Branch is an international symbol of peace - and not just peace or friendship, but also the crown of a victor ( at the the Olympics) and the symbol of a prize won with much courage overcoming all the odds. Olive Trees are holders of memories, comforters and nurturers of life in the lands where they grow.

Jesus spent what must have been the hardest night of his life in the company of not even his best friends - but a grove of Olive trees. Others have travelled long distances to go back to the olive tree beneath which they were born, or who provided the big part of their food all their childhood.



The Energy Field Properties of Olive reflect all these and go beyond. The energy field of Olive is among the widest most stable energy fields known in nature. It is so wide and expansive, it can carry almost any other energy field within itself without stamping its own characteristics on to it or inhibiting it from holding its own, and yet stay its own self truly at the same time. This makes it the perfect base for medicines and holistic remedies.

In the field of Energy Medicine I am trained it, the Olive is called 'Ananta' which means 'without end'. This is because Olive's energy field does not dissipate or end at any one definite point but can extend for metres. What I mean is, when you look at a human, there is a certain distance at which you stand from him or her and know you are 'not touching' or 'being in his or her space' or their energy field. Let's say 2 feet to 4 feet from their body is that distance - somewhere here,their energy field gives way to space - space you can fill without rubbing against them. In the case of an Olive tree, or the energy field of Olive, that distance would be 10 feet to 30 feet.

This is a significant property of Olive because this means it can neutralize many extreme effects without being over-strong or dramatic. It also means that it can spread the effect of an energy field over a whole area or a whole body quite easily. We now understand why it is the carrier oil of choice for so many cosmetic, aromatic oils and culinary recipes.

This property is also why Olive can be so comforting in a holistic way. It can keep us sheltered without being isolated at the same time. It can make us be able to deal with the world while being stable inside at the same time. These are invaluable aids to life in our times.

Olive also does another very beautiful thing. It can bring people together. This is how it works. Because it has such a wide energy field, it can accomodate just about any type of energy field within itself. Now if we have two people with very different energy types, and they both are given the energy field of Olive; because they - for a few hours at least - are being enveloped by the same energy field, even though they are so different they will begin to feel or sense that they are the same beneath their surface differences. This feeling is the basis of true friendship and there is no wonder that the Olive Branch is the symbol of peace inspite of differences.

The energy field of Olive may be wide and expansive, but it is also focussed. Its focus is towards its center - the vertical axis around which its truck tends to wind. It also has a strong sense of symmetry. This is a reflection of its ability to cause discipline in energy management.

Our bodies tend to manage energy according to our habits - and Olive's energy corrects our bodies so we manage energy according to our needs - not habits. This is very much like a Mom coming over for a visit and giving her child a reality check on what's important and what's not and how to keep house more efficiently. For this reason I call Olive - The Mother. I find it quite common-sense that most fertility and feminine force rituals and practices in the Middle East were done in Olive groves. I feel like a child in the arms of my mother when I am in the energy field of Olive. I truly believe the Olive is a living embodiment of eternal Mother's love.

There is one more wonderful thing I have to say about the Olive. It gives courage and clarity of vision. Clarity of vision because when we, like Olive, can be open-hearted and open-minded enough, we begin to see the bigger picture rather than what's just in front of us. This is what enables us to make decisions we are sure are right for us. And this surety and clarity gives us the courage to perserve even in the face of obstacles - as we know these are just temporary blocks.

If you want to treat yourself or a loved one to Olive's amazing energy field healing properties, you can use the following method to capture energy fields. The strength of the treatment depends on the purity of your source of Olive Oil.

You heat a pan of clean (purified/spring/distilled) water. You need to do this when your kitchen is free of other strong odors or other things beng cooked and releasing substances into the air. When the water comes to a boil, turn the flame down to half and put in two drops of Olive's essential oil.

Count to 10 after the drops are in and then hold a plate, spoon or bowl of pure silver over the pan, with tongs. If you don't have an instrument made of silver, try a spoon or bowl of hardened glass. Wooden or metal surfaces transmit their own energies to the vapor and modify the resulting energy field.

The drops of water vapor that settle onto the pure silver (or pure gold/ glass) surface are charged with Olive's energy field. Gently pour the drops into a clean bottle that is not made of wood or metal, and that's dark colored (to keep light out). Its ok if you've got just a few drops. Now pour in some more clean water - 10 drops of the charged drops for 100ml of water is an ok dilution level - shut the bottle and kept it away from the sunlight. The fridge is a good option if you live in tropical climate. In the normal section of the refridgerator this mix will keep for 2 or 3 days. You can freeze some of the liquid in the the freezer and melt a cube every two days. In the freezer it will keep for a week or two.

All you need is two drops directly at the back of the mouth, or in any liquid that's not hot, twice a day- preferably around sunrise or sunset.

In its more potent forms - such as I use to make thereupeutic energy medicine, Olive needs to be combined with other energy fields to balance out its effect. This is because it can cause an attitude of 'being ok with everything' even when the person really needs to take strong action.

To balance out the effects of Olive, so that the patient can truly benefit from it, I use one or more of the energy essences of Red Mustard, Black Sesame or Coffee Bean.
