Our energy fields are always changing in tune with the time of the month (women more than men), time of the year (men more than women), and in tune with the weather cycles. Much of our ongoing physical and emotional problems get sorted out naturally with time.
There are however situations where the energy field has a wound or block so deep or so widespread that it cannot heal and balance itself through the normal routine. It waits a while - years sometimes - and then begins to try and shake itself into balance. This is very much like shock therapy (except this is natural) or like stirring a soup or curry to mix up all the ingredients which are suspended here and there.
Even though these situations feel very difficult to deal with, they are actually to be taken advantage as they are signs that the energy field is healing itself. Only those with the will to live, and the spirit mandate to live, go through energy field crises.
The following are 8 of the most common energy field healing crises.
All the following leave us feeling vulnerable and weak, whereas the truth is our sensitivity and awareness have been heightened. Taking advantage of the new perspective and direction we get after or through these situations or incidents is the key to true healing and a brand new life.
1) Near Death Experience
This happens either because of a terrible physical injury or because of deep discontent with life and becoming completely unable to associate with one's own body and life. The energy field says, "Ok this is all just too knotted up. I'm going to just jump out for a second, spread out without knots and then get back in." So that's what happens. We just pop out for a second and then get back in. Sometimes there are people around who see this happen, many times only we know what we've been through.
Some people do this regularly through life. This is because they haven't been able to develop a lifestyle where the energy field stays unknotted and healthy for long. This could be because they constantly bear the stress and pain of others.
Every time a person has a NDE they change deeply - their energy field changes its preferences and style of living and this makes them very different people.
Cats do this 'for fun' because they're so in control of their energy fields - maybe that's why they say cats have nine lives. Some people with very highly developed sensitivity and ability to control their energy fields do this spontaneously or at will to keep their energy field clear. The 'Death' meditation or ritual practices of some schools of healing - Yoga is one - have this sort of rejuvenation in aim.
2) Panic Attacks for no particular reason or stimulus
Panic attacks 'one fine morning' or 'as I was parking the car' and so on are the energy field saying 'It's a good time to get your attention, HELLO!'
This sort of panic attack happens when our personality and identity is at a cross roads. We are simply unable to understand in our minds what we want in our hearts. Our energy field which is conected to both is feeling torn in two different directions and this results in a pure feeling of panic, even though the body is working and the mind is too.
We need to give attention to the emotion we feel at the time of the panic attack and face it bravely. We need to understand that the panic attack itself need not be 'cured' or 'controlled'. There's a reason behind it even though our minds may not know what it was. Emotional awareness will throw light on it, we just need to be open to hearing our feelings.
3) Sleep or Half-Sleep Paralysis
Sleep Paralysis is a situation where we feel like we are awake but our body is sleeping or paralysed and unable to turn around or move. A feeling of helplessness and sometimes fear comes over us. It usually stops in a few minutes leaving us exhausted and panicky.
This is the energy field temporarily surging the body. It happens when an energy field has gotten over charged with no way of letting out the energy in waking life. We cannot really into deep sleep and get fresh energy with such huge reserves of 'active' energy still circulating. So the energy field suddenly spreads out surging the entire body nervous system for a few minutes till the excess energy is out.
Repressed emotions and instinct cause this sort of over-charging of the energy field. For example, a person whose spirit has gotten alarmed by the behavior of someone close sends out excess energy to counter the 'opposition', but in his waking hours the person has seen no indication of this requirement, so the energy stays un-used in the nervous system.
Unfortunately if the enegry field has to repeatedly resort to this behavior to manage excess energy, we could get traumatized and start having a fear of sleep, or of our bed or bedroom. We start associating sleep itself with trauma and this leads to other complications.
4) Deep Sleep or Dream Trauma
There are some emotions we have that are buried so deep within that only in deep sleep can we face them. The energy field tries to 'exhume' them when we are in deep sleep - ie; when we are least in control of our emotional experience. We remember these experiences sometimes - as vivid dreams or nightmares, other times we are healed by awareness and subtle changes come over us making us change our direction or path for the better.
Like Sleep Paralysis, too much deep sleep 'exhuming' can make us feel afraid of deep sleep and cause us to experience insomnia, or disturbed sleep where we keep waking ourselves up just before we go into deep sleep; Just to avoid having to face buried emotions.
This situation can be resolved truly by facing our emotions without trying to mentally understand or analyze them. There are some things about life we cannot understand right now. We have to acknowledge our experiences anyway.
5) Mental and Nervous 'Attack'
Unreasonable impulse, 'weird thoughts' - 'like someone else is speaking, not me', Twitching of nerves - especially of the face, nerves going limp (drooping lips), Heightened blood circulation (flushed face, stomach upset for egg.), Lessened Blood Circulation (Pale face, cramps, pain in fingers, hands and feet) are all indications of the energy field trying to 'shake up'.
This is another method the energy field uses to balance itself. In this case the energy field feels restricted and forced to be rigid or flow in just certain ways. It wants to simply 'shake up to feel flexible'. Our nerves require flexibility to work. Our brain needs to be stimulated to work in all its faculties. When our brain is used only in some ways, the parts lying un-used wake up every now and then to say "Excuse me, I'm still here. How about ordering something I like for a change?!"
This situation says to us, that it is time to live more fully; we are made of more, capable of more than our daily lives are allowing us to enjoy and express. Our potential needs to be truly acknowledged and used.
6) Sensory or Histamine Over-Reaction
Sudden allergic outbursts, rashes, swelling, and strong reactions to things are all part of the energy field's 'waking up' to something.
This usually happens when an energy field that was low on vitality suddenly receives fresh energy. Being in the habit of making do with little, the energy field doesn't know what to do with the rush and chooses to over react to sensory stimuli or simply resurrect old problems (comfortable way to get rid of excess energy).
Cutting out the stimulus of the allergy, or lessening vital energy by panicking and withdrawing doesn't help much. The trick here is to calm the body's histamine function by giving ourselves a stable routine and diet. When the energy field figures out that the fresh energy was not a one time thing, that it need not survive on less anymore, it will tone down its dramatic displays to gentler ways of saying "I don't like this" or "I don't like that."
People who have emotional or physical extremes too often and with no recovery time in between - even when those experiences are positive ones - tend to set their energy fields into confusion about 'How much energy can I expect to get today'. When this expectation goes wrong, the energy field starts working and lesser and lesser, throwing the rest out violently.
7) Uncontrollable Physical Urges and Pain
Migraine, Back Pain, Stomach Pain , Muscle Pain (as in Fibromyalgia), constant hunger, thirst, craving for warmth (even from under 4 blankets) - these are all the energy field refusing to go on without rest. It has simply not recovered from disintegration it experienced due to severe trauma or the effect of a strong chemical or radiation. It needs to rest - physically, mentally, emotionally before going on with life.
The pain and urge 'attacks' continue until the energy field finds periods of rest happening as part of daily life.
A usual situation is here is people feeling, "But I DO rest quite a bit!" The thing to note is that whatever that rest is, it is obviously not deep and long enough. The body wants more. Perhaps there is something that doesn't allow you real complete rest - and that needs to be sorted out so you can really rest.
8) Escape from all things Familiar
is on the lines of a Near Death Experience. The person has lost all identification of self with life on the outside. Nothing matches, mothing works, everything feels strange. On one hand people can indeed wake up one day and find out that their lives on the outside don't match their lives on the inside, and spontaneously decide to move on or change their lives. This is great - its not an escape, its facing reality.
On the other hand, when we have experienced such deep and continuing trauma that we have associated everything around us with that trauma, we become unable to continue living in our surrounding though we might want to. The energy field has shut itself down and is refusing to accept energy from these surroundings. As soon as it gets 'familiar' with something it assumes that it is danger of trauma again and wants to move.
Getting our energy fields back to living and working in our environment means finding security in our present moment again without feeling threatened. We need to work out a lifestyle where our basic needs are met without having to be or pretend to be someone that we are not really.
The use of Metals, and Crystals for Energy Field Recovery;
Traditionally the ability to get through a healing crisis was supported by contact with metals, crystals and therapeutic herbs. For grounding while IN a healing crisis, contact with earth (in a bowl at hand, or actual earth contact), wearing, holding or touching iron, rock, dark or clear white crystals (onyx, obsidian, agate, quartz) were recommended.
For energy fields to 'connect up' again, the metal of Copper, worn as a bracelet, or used as a jug in which drinking water was stored has been used.
For energy fields to build resistance and stay stable, the metals - Bronze and Brass are used, usually in the form of bracelets or coins.
Besides these, emergency energy medicine usually in the form of light infusions/tea or hydrosols (water distillate) were used. The popular herbs and flowers used in emergencies and for recovery just after are Myrrh, Silver (Colloidal Silver), Almond, Olive, Wild Rice, Wild Yam, Camomile, Banyan, Fig, Balsam, Saffron among others.
If something makes you feel good, DO IT, HAVE IT, ENJOY IT. This is the time to do whatever you feel like doing, whatever makes you happy.
