Energy Healing for Facial Rejuvenation

The first signs of anything wrong in our bodies and definitely to do with our Brain, show on our face. The energy field of the face represents the entire field, so anything we do that rejuvenates our face actually rejuvenates our brain and the rest of the body as well.

Rejuvenating the cells that make up our faces, for healing and proportion, is not limited to using herbs and flower essences, or getting a good night's sleep (this ofcourse is indispensable). There are some other things we can do to specifically direct fresh energy to the face for healing and recovery from long term damage.

1) Warmth from the center of the field.

The air around the center of our bodies has subtle energy that is pure vital or sexual energy. A primal method to harness this energy and direct it to parts of the body which need healing, is to rub our hands together vigorously in the area at and just below the belly button and then allow the heat generated to rest over or massage the other part of us that needs healing.

To rejuvenate the face, rub your hands together near the center of your body and transfer the energy from there to your face. You will need a few minutes to do this. Massage every bit of your face, your eyes (over your eye lids), your nose, forehead, mouth, cheeks, chin and even the ears. Keep taking heat from the center of your field . You will be amazed at how refreshed you can feel at any time of day or night when you do this.

Note: Do not wash your face for atleast 15 minutes after you do this. The effect might be lost. If you find your center has no heat to offer, warm it up a bit by moving your hips around in circles or swinging them from side to side (pelvic thrusts and belly dance moves also are great for this).

2) Kick starting the senses

Our face has more sense organs in one place than any other part of the body. This means it is always receiving impulses, electricity and energy from our environment. If our senses are dull and jaded, much of the energy we receive becomes static and clogs the area around the face making cells here sluggish and giving us a worn, tired look.

We need to keep our sense organs sharp, to process energy from and through the face. Doing this means understanding the importance of the things we see, hear, taste and smell and feel. As soon as we realize that life is made up of these 'sensings' we begin to give them attention, notice them and our entire body comes alive.

Part of kick starting our sensory abilities is to rest them enough. While becoming more aware of what we are sensing, we also become aware of when it is all too much and we need to rest. The basis of good health is rest at the right time.

Our face demonstrates to what extent we have rested and used our senses. We need both rest and intense activity in turn, to keep our cells healthy.

3) Mineral Balance in the Body

Because our face mirrors our entire energy field so closely, it also shows the balance of minerals - the building blocks of our bodies in a way. Like everything in nature, we have a gentle balance of components and any extreme this way or that throws our bodies into crisis.

To maintain mineral balance in the body, we need to follow our instinct in what we eat, and drink enough water to truly satisfy our thirst. If you feel like eating something specific, eat it (provided you aren't wanting it out of habit or a sense of insufficiency). When you feel like having something sweet, or salty or spicy or whatever - it means your body requires something right now and it is wisdom to have it rightaway.

Ofcourse, having a balanced stable diet is absolutely a MUST.

4) Awareness of the Alchemy Center of the Head

The energy field of the head, has a center point - the center of the space where the back of our tongue meets the throat. As children we are very aware of this point and it keeps the muscles and nerves of the face reactive, fresh and energized. As adults or because of energy imbalance, our awareness lessens making energy gather up more up in our brains. This causes the lower parts of the face and head to go weak, maybe sag.

Bringing awareness to the energy center of the head, helps get energy flowing again to the face in a balanced way, bringing proportion and elasticity back.

To bring awareness to this point, swallow very slowly and feel the vibrations of the tongue and then the throat - especially that point where the tongue meets the throat. Do this whenever you can.

Another way to bring awareness here, is to do tongue exercises - because the tongue is directly connected to that center point. 4 simple tongue exercises are described below - if you find them difficult its because of low awareness in the center of the head;

1) Flick your tongue out like a lizard - 10 times. Swallow slowly.
2) Stick your tongue out and draw a circle clockwise 5 times, anti-clockwise 5 times.
3) Fold your tongue, like you're lapping up water and then flap it back straight - 10 times.
4) Stick your tongue out and keeping it straight flick it sideways to each corner of the mouth - 20 times.

If its the first time you're doing tongue exercises, you might find your concentration more on the tip of your tongue, than its root. The aim is to do these exercises from the root of the tongue. You'll find it very easy once you get going.

5) Perineum lift

The Perineum is the lowermost point of the torso. Its a special point because it is the equal and opposite point of the top of the head. This means, that if there is less energy in the head or face, it can be supplemented by stimulating the opposite end of the energy field.

The muscle at the Perineum when tightened causes the energy field around the head to contract. When relaxed it causes the energy field around the face to relax. Tightening and relaxing in a rhythmic way, works as a massage of the energy field around the face.

All you have to do is sit or lie down comfortably, feel the bottom most part of your torso, and pull it upwards. Hold it for as long as you can without straining and then relax. This feels difficult at first, but it makes a BIG difference. Try it and see!

6) Stop controlling Facial Nerves and Muscles

Now this one is important. As long as the brain is controlling the facial muscles in a conscious way, huge amounts of energy are circulating in the delicate energy structure around the face. Once in a while its great. But if we are spending a whole lot of time doing this, the face gets energy surged and the cells tire out. This means a tired face that scars easily and doesn't repair quickly enough.

To end the pressure on facial nerves and muscles, get out of the habit of controlling your facial expression. Just let your face be - let it reflect how you're feeling inside. People will love you for it you'll see.

7) Support Blood Circulation to the Head

Blood carries energy in simpler forms around the body. Where blood if flowing well, energy is flowing well. To support the face in healing and maintaining good health, allow for robust circulation here.

Besides following the tips above, all of which increase and balance circulation in the head;
  • - practise yoga postures where the head is held below the rest of the body,
  • - allow yourself to engage in physical and emotional activities that excite and thrill you
  • - actually exercise the head by bending it, turning, swivelling it around and so on.
