Hemangiosarcoma is a result of a breakdown in cell health and immunity generally in your dog's body, that has found expression in blood cells going weak and these weak cells gathering in festering clumps (tumors) around vital organs and surrounding tissues. While its effect can be wherever blood vessels are - which is just about everywhere in the body - it usually tends to show up around the spleen - which produces white blood cells that fight such interruption - the heart - which is the center of all blood related activity in the body, and the skin - which mirrors blood health faithfully.
