Millie
Equine Skin Cancer (Melanoma) often baffles doctors because it takes a while to know which treatment is working (or not).
Millie, a light brown brood mare who lives in Texas US develops severe Melanoma all over her previously glossy coat. Her human, Ms C. did not want her taking the usual cancer treatments as she had been through a painful time with treating cancer in the love of her life, a mustang Billie. She had lost him to cancer in spite of radiotherapy and chemotherapy and all the side effects of the same and did not want to see Millie go through that. She put Millie on various immunity boosting herbs and got a local Reiki master to come over twice a week.
On the recommendation of a friend who had tried energy treatment for her acne problem, she ordered a three month course of prescription energy treatment for Millie. We didn't hear from her for a while until three months later when she ordered the next three month course. We didn't hear from her for about six weeks.
Then she emailed us saying; "I am the proud mother of a beautiful happy mare. The marks are not all gone but the vet says the cancer itself has gone. My girl is out there enjoying the sun and the grass - you guys! It may not be surprising to you - for me it is a miracle. I had gotten used to thinking I'd lose my baby.
