Osteosarcoma or Bone Cancer is a result of a breakdown in cell health and immunity generally in your horse's body, but showing up in the bones specifically. It is one of the "lifestyle" illnesses and is based in the horse's lifestyle pretty much. It is easy to reverse when we start giving our companions the stimulation they need in every day life to develop bone health and strength.

This stimulation is exercise that they enjoy, that makes their bones start assimilating the energy they are supposed to get. This stimulation is also the tastes and smells and feel of food that stimulates their digestive system to receive nutrition for bone healing and well-being. Boring monotonous food and environment, puts the equine body into a sort of numb zone and very slowly the absorption of nutrients starts lessening. Injections and pills only bombard the body even more and it goes on and on until we get back to the natural way of doing things - which is to excite the horse into eating something. The excitement and stimulation of the senses make the gut wake up and start working on the food in tandem with the horse's enthusiasm. The absence of this joy in the first place causes cancer in horses and reversing it can be a beautiful experience for both horse and human loved ones.

In the Energy Field (the field of holistic treatment that we specialize in), Osteosarcoma or Bone Cancer is very simply a result of a long term energy block around the descending colon of the horse - an area near underneath his or her body just below the stomach and just above the genitals. This causes an energy - something like electricity - surge or drain in the blood cells and circulatory system which spreads energy and nutrition through the body. These do not supply the bones with the energy they need to develop and stay healthy and this causes cells in the area to weaken in the face of constant fluctuation, and eventually a weakness means some cells do not get enough energy and start decaying on a large scale.
