Pain along the sciatic nerve is called Sciatica. This very important nerve arises around the lower back from five roots and then goes down the thigh. Relief from sciatica depends on two things;

1) Addressing the root cause of the pain
2) Balancing the electrical signals in the nerve that are 'causing' pain

Now, the root cause of Sciatica pain could be actual injury to the nerve itself, or some other bone pushing against it (or injections put in the wrong place). Whatever it is, it needs to be removed (as in the case of a pelvic/femur fracture) or supported in healing and balancing.

Balancing the electrical signals in the sciatic nerve: The sciatic nerve gets its energy from the Spinal Cord in the lower back and to balance out electric signals, the Spinal Cord in the lower back needs to be energetically balanced. Often, we find that this turns out to be a complex process because there are so many 'high tension' energy connections in the lower spinal area, and all of them get imbalanced when one of them is imbalanced. This is why, very often sciatica patients have a host of other health problems all related in one way or the other to the lower back.

When the Spinal Cord is under pressure because of energy blocks in the abdominal area, it conveys the energy imbalances all through the nervous system. It itself is very sensitive and being the very lifeline of the body, it takes energy from all the surrounding organs to sustain its own function. This means weakness and tiredness throughout the entire body and this means the body is open to all manner of illness.

Besides the Energy Blocks as mentioned above, a long term imbalance in Energy Conversion can also cause Sciatica.
