Cardio Myopathy is a situation in which the Heart simply starts weakening. There is evidence that the tendency that leads to Cardio Myopathy is genetic or hereditary. But it is not known why only some people who have the gene develop Cardio Myopathy while others go through life without a hint of heart trouble of any sort.

In the Energy Field, Cardio Myopathy is a serious block in the Energy highway between the center of gravity of the body - that lies in the middle of the lower abdomen - and the Heart. It is such a serious block that the vital energy that the Heart needs for its minute to minute function isn't getting through properly.

In a developing foetus or growing body, the Heart depends exclusively on this vital energy for its own GROWTH as an organ. When it stops receiving this vital energy, it becomes direction-less and even though it is still functioning as an organ of the body, it is just doing its work mechanically. Sooner or later, its energy reserve gets depleted and it starts losing its elasticity and its cells start becoming flaccid. It becomes harder and harder to work and usually that's when we go to the doctor and find out we have Cardio Myopathy.

On both physical and emotional levels, the two basic causes of Cardio Myopathy are;

1) Energy Blocks in the lower Abdomen and digestive organs.
Physically this means, food is too heavy to digest easily and the digestive system dosen't have enough energy to deal with the load. Emotionally this shows long term tension in the lower abdomen - perhaps because of continued stress without a break for years and years. It could also signify a block in sexual energy. Sexual Energy is not all about having sex, it is one of the most important types of energy in the body and we use it in the every day function and being of sexual organs, endocrine glands, teeth, hair, skin and nails (to name a few). So if you have problems with weight, hormonal imbalance, skin or hair fall etc, you know you have a sexual energy block.

2) Conflict between life purpose and every day life.
If you feel in your Heart that you are not living the life you believe deep down you were meant to live, this causes twists and knots and conflicts in the energy field. These can show up in many ways, Cardio Myopathy being one. We need to feel that our life is either the way we believe deep down it should be, or we need to be working towards that dream. The day we give up on our intrinsic life dream, and settle for something unacceptable to our spirit, our heart rebels and says NO, NO WAY. The fact is that, the only way to live is to follow our Heart, we simply dance to its music or die.

Besides the Energy Blocks in the abdomen as mentioned above, a long term imbalance in Energy Conversion can also cause Cardio Myopathy. In the Heart and the Spinal Cord, there is a constant ongoing conversion of Vital Physical Energy into what we call Reflexive Energy. This is the amazing energy we use in our internal organs without even knowing it. This energy is involuntary energy, it makes us react instinctively, makes our food digest without us thinking first. It makes our nervous system and muscles work automatically - like making us recoil from touching something too hot. It makes our heart beat on its own without us trying.
