Oedema or Fluid Retention in the body is an imbalance of the Lymphatic System. It is common enough for our ankles or lower legs to swell up if we have been standing all day, but fluid retention all over the body simply means that the Lymphatic System is low on energy and that's why fluid isn't being sent out of the body via the Kidneys and Urinary system as is normal.

To rejuvenate the Lymphatic System, there are two simple things to do:
1) Exercise
The more you move around, the more the Lymph (the fluid of the Lymphatic System) moves around. The more it moves around the body, the higher its chances are of getting out. There is evidence that the Lymphatic System does the majority of its clean-up work between 4 and 6pm, so that's a good time to be physically active. The yoga position of lying down on your back and holding your legs up straight can help a great deal with relieving fluid retention in the lower legs - for obvious reasons.
2) Rehabilitate Kidney and Urinary Function
This is important because the Kidneys clean up blood and sends impurities out through Urine. If the Kidneys don't do their job well, the lymphatic system finds itself more and more burdened with toxins from the blood and one of its crisis responses is fluid retention.

In the Energy Field, Fluid Retention shows up as a block or series of blocks in the Spinal Cord. Any block in this area, drastically affects the water management processes in the body, not to mention the cell health of the entire body. The organ of the body that spearheads water management in the body, and through water management, blood cell health and purity as well is the Kidneys.

The Kidneys are affected by energy blocks in the Spinal area because of the various endocrine glands in the area which help in the maintenance of body temperature through the blood circulation. Unstable or extreme body temperatures put pressure on various organs of the body, especially the genitals and the nose. It also means lessened detoxification ability (one of the important jobs of the kidneys).

Fluid Retention also demonstrates an imbalance in the Energy Conversion processes of the body. In the region of the kidneys, a constant conversion of energy from sexual or growth/expansion energy to pure physical energy is always happening. This conversion is fuelled by the need to react to thirst, pleasure, pain, and the need to grow or change. It is an essential function of life, without which we would not even be able to drink when we are thirsty, enjoy tastes and so on. This conversion depends on the free flow of energy (and blood) from the spinal area to the kidneys and out from the kidneys back to the circulatory system and the adrenal glands.

To rectify the underlying Energy Field symptoms of Fluid Retention we need to specifically;
1) Remove Energy Blocks in the Spinal Cord Region especially in the lower back.
2) Revive free and stable energy conversion to and from the Spinal Area to the Kidneys and from the Kidneys back to the Circulatory System.
