Mastitis is an inflammation of the milk ducts in the breasts. It happens because of too much or too less energy in the cells here. Either way the cells here under-perform by allowing infections to develop or over-perform and get inflamed. This is a disorder of the immune system in conjunction with the lymphatic system and both these systems need to be supported for healing along with the endocrine system. In the Energy Field (the field of holistic treatment that we specialize in), Mastitis is seen as a result of a long term energy block around the neck or throat area. This causes an energy - something like electricity - surge or drain that interferes with the messages going from the brain to the immune system, lymphatic system and towards the breasts. This erratic energy supply here causes cells in the area to weaken in the face of constant fluctuation, and as the lymphatic system - which the breasts are intimately connected with - spans the entire body almost, the weakness can manifest into actual decaying or dead cells almost anywhere.

Breasts with the milk ducts become a vulnerable zone because they are intimately connected with the lymphatic system and rely on them working with endocrine glands for their health and well-being. When either of these two systems is under stress, the other one is thrown out of balance as well and the cells of glands like the mammary glands have either too less, too much or fluctuating energy - all of which contribute to their ill-health. The breasts are also a vulnerable area when they are either under exercised or oxygenated or over exercised and oxygenated.

Mastitis is usually a result of certain blocks - as mentioned above- in combination with an energy conversion imbalance between physical and emotional energy in the body. You see our bodies have their own intelligence based on various physical stimuli. The body and all its various glands know instinctively how to behave when faced with certain physical events. For example, the pull of a baby's mouth on the mother's nipple, causes the release of a hormone - progesterone - that causes breast milk to flow. Now when, on an everyday basis the body is not allowed to react normally to physical stimuli - like the urge to urinate, or drink water, or eat, or make love - the body gets into the habit of self-suppressing and this causes confusion in the system quite literally.

Besides the obvious swelling and/or pain, problems with the breasts can be accompanied by fluid retention, swelling or pain around the nose, genitals, descending colon, or urethra. It can also be accompanied by weakened liver function, erratic surges or drains in sexual energy and abnormal growth of or around the femur bone and sacral region.
